The scope of work for replacement of the roofs at six (6) academic buildings at SUC @ Brockport, includes the removal of the existing roofing system including damaged insulation. Hazardous materials abatement of asbestos containing materials and/or PCB containing caulk will be performed as necessary. Areas where masonry walls or parapets are compromised will require repair, joints to be cleaned and sealants to be replaced.
The existing vapor barrier on the roof decks is to be repaired, new insulation exceeding code minimums is to be installed, roof mounted fans and ventilators will be replaced and/or new roofing curbs will be installed, and unless another system is identified as a better choice, a new roof system using cold applied modified bitumen roofing membrane will be installed. Roof drains will be replaced with new metal drain bodies and domes. Estimated Construction Cost: $3,607,000.
